Hey guys...
New to this network and want to find kindred freaks. Don't know if there really is a rave scene in Boston. How do I find events here?
Looking forward to talking to and meeting all of you.

Thu, March 4, 2004 - 9:38 PMhey there. i am pretty much in the same situation as you.
i just moved back here from the west coast, and i don't know the scene out here at all.
i love dnb, house, breaks...
any heads up to any good events or weeklys going on would be much appreciate - thanks! -

Re: Intros
Sat, March 6, 2004 - 6:12 PMfor the more commercial venues.. might I suggest checking the Boston Phoenix website.. or the free paper in the city.. you'll see stands for it outside of subways and shit...
I know that the Phoenix Landing in Cambridge has two nights that I can think of off hand..
one night is DNB, I think Thursdays.. and the other night is House and stuff of the like.
good luck and I hope this little bit helps...
there's other stuff going on, but you'll have to look for flyers in shops on Newbury st. like Boston beat and Satellite Records. -

Re: Intros
Thu, March 25, 2004 - 8:07 AMi would suggest the weekly dig over the phoenix, personally. they have a less subjective view about the electronic scene then the phoenix. they are also a bit more humourous. they have a bunch of papers whereever you find the phoenix.
you can check them out at www.weeklydig.com
another less than obvious stop is to locate a mass art party, and use extroversion to find some of the better undergrounds in boston. mass art itself has had some decent venues, believe it or not. i saw dj spooky there a while ago. -

Re: Intros
Tue, September 7, 2004 - 10:29 AMi would look on miscon.net for some stuff. This is a great way to get a list on club nights. We post parties on there, too.
We don't go all night, but throw parties once a month, for a more underground(ish), freaks and geeks set.
We have one in JP this weekend. Check out www.noiselabs.com/circle for more info.
welcome!

Tue, January 2, 2007 - 7:49 AMwhat kind of stuff do you want to know about?
there is circle every thursday at the western front in cambridge. It's a free night, with a lot of cool cats that go. there is house, jungle, trance, breaks, drum circles once a month, just about everything. www.noiselabs.com/circle
there is psyforia which is a once a month trance night near fresh pond in cambridge. fun stuff.
psyforia.net
there is a jungle night on fridays at the solstice cafe on commonwealth ave. in brighton called "merge."
the phoenix landing is still rockin' tuesdays wednesdays and thursdays.
there is soul revival. a monthly house night that really kicks some ass. reviveyoursoul.com
hmmm..... i think that's all i got.
oh, circle and sonic beating (psyforia) both have tribes on here. circle is gnomefatty kollectiv and the other is sonic beating.
